Writing Your Life

To help you stay connected, motivated, and continue to meet your writing goals, we’re hosting a free virtual write-in and feedback session! This event is open to all and no prior writing experience is necessary.

After a short introduction, we will share a writing prompt. You’ll have thirty minutes to write independently, using either the prompt we provide or drafting new material.

Then, we’ll break into small groups of three to share what you wrote and receive feedback from group members–about fifteen minutes per person.

Don’t miss this fun and unique opportunity to connect and write together!

I enjoyed the class tonight. New people with new ideas and experiences lent excitement to the class of three. They wrote well, sharing the lives they are leading now. Strangely each one wrote about snakes! Not my idea of fun but it lent an exciting story. One added spiders and roaches. Yuck! I think I’ll avoid New Mexico as a place to spend my final years. I’ll stay with puppies, which was my offering.

I’m looking forward to the new class. Working with three should make an interesting and close group. I enjoyed the previous larger groups and working closely with one member. But this sounds different and fun. I hope it evolves.
