This class has it all: learning new writing techniques by studying the text of a best-selling memoir, writing your life story pieces, and getting constructive feedback from peers.
Join me this August for Life Story: Read, Write, Review as we use the New York Times’ bestselling memoir The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls to guide us in our study of life story writing.
In this class, we use Wall’s memoir as a guide and explore what she does to create her compelling tale. We then scour the text and learn techniques to apply to our writing. You also have the chance to share your stories and obtain helpful feedback.
Even if you have taken a Life Story: Read, Write, Review class in the past, each offering is unique, with fresh insights, lessons, and materials. This is a class you can take many times over and always learn something new.
No previous writing experience is required because our motto is: The only way to do this wrong is to not do it at all!
