Giving and Receiving Feedback

Many of us feel inadequate at giving feedback to fellow writers. We think: I don’t know enough about writing to help someone else. I’m not an editor. No one expects you to be. You are giving feedback as a reader, and each one of you is a reader.

Don’t worry. We’re here to help. The video below tells you how, and then, follow along as we read a sample story and walk through the process, start to finish.

Our Life Writers’ feedback process will be a bit different than what is explained in the video because you will obtain a copy of your buddies’ stories one week in advance via their post on the Story Share pages. You will not need to rely only on listening to the stories being read.
