Loyd Gilbert Gilley lived in a very special time and place that most have forgotten or cannot remember how wonderful it was. Those who have come since do not realize what happened, how it happened and how very special this time and place really was. It was a time before electricity, running water, indoor bathrooms and telephones.
Before he forgets, he wants to tell his stories for the benefit and education of his children, grandchildren and all the generations yet to come.
