What does it mean to write well? Are there tried and true ways to improve your prose, no matter what type of writing you do? You bet!
I’ll delve into the answers to those questions in my two-part workshop, Basics of Writing Well, Saturday, April 28, 2018, on the shores of beautiful Lake Fairview near College Park, Orlando (32804). Exact address provided at registration.
Join me for the morning session from 9:00 a.m.-noon when I discuss what makes for effective and vivid writing–-specificity, strong verbs, sensual writing, and much more.
From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., I give you the opportunity to write with me. You receive prompts designed to trigger memories you might not otherwise have thought to write about. Then, I ask for volunteers to share what they’ve written. We applaud wildly and go on to the next prompt, and you leave with the beginnings of eight or more stories.
Sounds like fun? It is.
Participate in either the morning or the afternoon session or make a day of it and attend both sessions for a discounted price and lunch.
Register today to learn how to make your life stories, blog posts, essays, fiction, articles, academic writing, or even letters and journal entries more engaging and successful. Space is limited, so sign up soon.
Cost for either the morning or afternoon session is $69, or attend both with a delicious lunch included for just $119.
