Let’s celebrate books, Orlando!
Saturday, April 21st, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., come to A Daylong Celebration of Books and attend panels, writing workshops, book signings, and more. This free event is open to all, and tickets are not required, though you can RSVP on Facebook to see updates and ask questions.
Most of the panels are geared toward fiction, but I’d like to recommend that you attend Roy Peter Clark’s session, Writing Tools: Essential Strategies for Every Writer, which is Session 3 from 1:00-1:50 p.m. He is someone I have read who has helped me with writing. In this workshop, he’ll select his most practical writing tips from his most popular books, and, apparently there will also be music!
I hope to see you at the Orlando Public Library (101 E. Central Blvd., Orlando, FL 32801). We can celebrate books together. Read about all the panelists and see the full schedule here.
