What a great weekend at the Amelia Island Book Festival! For anyone who loves writing and books, the festival was the place to be. Accomplished authors and those in the process of writing books attended the Writer’s Workshop to learn more about publishing and the craft of writing. I felt privileged to do two workshops–Make a Scene and Moments to Memoir.
The next day, more than one hundred authors assembled to promote their books to many people who filed in all day long. When not talking with readers, we authors chatted and came to know each other and our books.
I shared a table with Juanita Broaddrick, author of You’d Better Put Some Ice On That: How I Survived Being Raped by Bill Clinton. The Amelia Island Book Festival Expo was where Ken Alcorn premiered his new book, Body, Mime
