Did you enjoy the good fortune of having a female mentor, role model, coach, teacher, or someone who impacted your life in a significant way? If you did, a new publishing company wants to hear from you.
My friend and colleague, cj Madigan, shared this call for submissions for “The Mentor that Matters,” an anthology of sixty stories scheduled to publish this fall by Stories of You Books. Put your memories of this important woman in a piece of 1,000 words or less and submit it before August 15th. The publishers ask you to write about who these mentors “are or were; how they came into your life; what you learned from them; and why it changed your life in one or more significant ways.”
