In this class that runs Wednesdays, February 3, 10, 17, & 24 from 10:30am to noon on the Rollins main campus, we’ll examine the work of a well-known memoirist, discuss his story, and explore what the author is doing to create this compelling tale. We’ll then use the text as a way to learn writing techniques we can apply to our own life stories. The memoir for this class is My Southern Journey: True Stories from the Heart of the South by Rick Bragg.
