It’s that time of year—time to write goals, make resolutions, and create intentions for 2018.
As I write this, I’m sitting in the Nashville airport, listening to the live music that defines this city and relishing the fact that I’ve already accomplished my first goal of the new year—attending Michael Hyatt’s workshop, Best Year Ever Live 2018.
Michael Hyatt is a leadership coach whom I’ve followed for years. He provides such practical advice in his programs, webinars, blogs, and podcasts, but what I love most about him is that he addresses the entirety of a person’s life—the emotional, relational, vocational, avocational, etc.—not just the business side.
For the last few days, 500 motivated and enthusiastic people from across the globe gathered in Music City to establish goals and create the frameworks within which to accomplish them.
We also attended the official launch of Michael’s latest book, Best Year Ever. Imagine that. So, you can benefit from his wisdom and practical approach to goal-setting from your living room couch.
I sound like a Michael Hyatt commercial. I promise I don’t benefit at all from the sale of his book. I just believe in what I’ve learned these last few days, and I want to share it with you. I want you to make 2018 your best year ever, and I hope, wish, pray that one of your goals will involve writing.
Maybe this year is the one where you actually write the story that lives in your heart and mind, not just talk about doing it.
If your goal for 2018 is to get started, slog through the messy middle, or have a manuscript you’ve already written edited and published, I can help.
I can help you get started when you don’t know where to go or what to do. (Check out Write Your Way into 2018 on Saturday, January 20th in Orlando.) I can guide you through the writing process and keep you from losing your way. I can polish and help you improve what you’ve written. I can publish your magnificent words into a beautiful, custom-designed, one-of-a-kind hardback or paperback book.
So, what do you say? Will you set a writing goal for 2018, and let me enable you to say I did it! on December 31st?
If you believe I’m talking directly to you, then I am. Email me at patricia@writingyourlife.org, and let’s set up a time to talk about your writing dream and your next step. It’s time to invest in yourself and the message only you can share.
