People & PlacesIn all types of writing, but especially memoir, bringing people to life is key to the success of the story. The characters in our lives deliver our memories to readers, and we want them to be flesh and bones, not just a name on the page. I want to help you accomplish just that.

Writing People and Places begins Tuesday, June 14th at 7:30 p.m. with a get-acquainted call where you’ll meet your fellow travelers and receive all the details about how the program works.

I hope you can make this initial call, but if you can’t, don’t worry. All program calls are recorded and posted on the website to listen to at your convenience.

Then Thursday, June 16th, you receive the first of four weekly modules you have access to for six full months.

Some of what you’ll learn in Writing People and Places include proven methods to:

  • create vivid characters, both major and minor
  • write and correctly punctuate dialogue
  • make important locations real
  • allow readers to witness your story’s action using scenes
  • show emotion rather than telling it
  • and a few bonus topics to make you an even better writer

As always, this program contains helpful outlines to use to take notes while watching the videos, handouts, assignments, exclusive access to the private Writing People and Places website, three Q&A calls, a personal thirty-minute coaching session, random notes of encouragement, and much more.

Sign up early to receive the best price! Register before June 1st and pay only $129 for Writing People and Places. After June 1st, the price of the regular program goes from $129 to $149.

Also, if you sign up before June 1st, you receive an additional coaching session prior to the start of the program to help you make the most of the material.

Your fellow writers are already registering for the free teleseminar and the Writing People and Places coaching program, so join the group and take your writing to the next level.

I look forward to working with you. Happy writing!
