On Thursday, September 20, 2012, Patricia Charpentier of Writing Your Life and Pat Coamey of Group Travel Specialists joined forces to give attendees a glimpse of what great adventures await them on the Writing the Waves cruise next May.

Pat Coamey showed a video of life onboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas that featured twice-weekly parades down the promenade at the center of the ship, productions of Broadway musicals, ice skating shows, rock climbing walls, a surfing pool, food, food and more food, and that was all in the first five minutes. The rest of the film gave us a taste of tropical paradise at its best, the kind we’ll experience at our four ports of call—Labadee, Haiti (Royal Caribbean’s private island); Falmouth, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico.

Several people decided the Writing the Waves cruise was exactly what they needed and signed up on the spot. Check out the Cruise page on the Writing Your Life website in the coming weeks to meet your new cruise-mates.

Pat Coamey told us that the Freedom of the Seas ship inspection scheduled for Sunday, October 21st is filling up fast. At last check, there were only fifteen spots left, so if you’re planning to go on the inspection but have not yet signed up, do it now. This trip is open to all of Group Travel Specialists’ clients, not just Writing Your Life class members.

The cost of this day-long adventure which includes transportation to Port Canaveral, a tour of the ship, a sit-down lunch, time to explore on our own and all tips and fees is $45. Click on the Ship Inspection Form to complete the registration form that needs to be sent to Group Travel Specialists as soon as possible. We don’t want you to miss out on this fun trip. All aboard.
